How to speed up the painting time.
This tip will help get your painting project completed faster.
Apply your paint with a roller. Then go over the area with a
paint brush. This will give you the same look of painting with a
brush. The time saver here is applying the paint with the roller
instead of the paint brush.
How to remove finishing nails.
Remove finish nails from moldings by pulling the
nails out from the back side of the work piece with a pair of
pliers. This will prevent the nail head from chipping or splintering the finished side of the work piece that you are
going to reuse.
How to remove wallpaper easily.
First score the wall with a scoring tool.
Then mix 3 parts water to 1 part fabric softener and apply to wallpaper.
Let soak and then peel off the wallpaper.
This is a time saving painting tip.
You don't have to clean your paint brush or roller
cartridge when it is time to take a break or at the end of the
day. Just slip them in a zip-lock bag. Then roll the bag up
towards the zipper to expel most of the air out and then seal
the bag up. They are ready to go after your break or the next day.
